Undersea project
This project started at the beginning of June 2017 and ended in july 2017. The age range of the children was between 3 and 5 years old.
The whole project started by observing the children talking about the beach, the sun, the sand, the water, the shells, the seaweed, the waves and the fish. Some of the children talked about the colours of the sea, what types of sea creatures lived under the water and how we can see the fish underwater.
Therefore, in order to support the curiosity and creativity of all the children the materials that were provided to them were: Clay, paint, foil, tissue paper, paper and cardboard.
Also, whilst doing this creative project we read a lot of books about aquatic life under the sea which supported the interests of the children as well as developing their own creativity by making some clay models that represented their own perception of sea creatures.
I would like to say a big thank you to all the children that have been involved in this project.
