Learning about Dogs

The whole project started as the children showed a strong interest in learning about different types of dogs. Therefore we started talking about the breeds, colours, shapes and sizes of different dogs. Afterwards I gave the children a wide range of pictures of dogs to help the children to draw their own representation.

Some of the children had already a dog at home and so represented the picture of their own dog whilst some of the other children represented the picture of their favourite dogs.

Also the children seemed enjoying hearing about the adventures of Jimmy, Alfie, Sprocket and other pet dogs living with us and our families.
