The two sessions that I delivered in the schools in Pokhara were very interactive and interesting in terms of sharing different educational philosophies and different professional practices with the Nepalese teachers.
We all shared our thoughts on the meaning of education and the importance of listening and giving time to the children to learn at their own pace. Also, we discussed about children’s rights and the importance of respecting and valuing children’s own unique emotions, feelings and personality whilst working with the children in the field of education.
It has been an amazing personal and professional experience working alongside all the teachers.
